The Northgate High Broncos lost to 12 Bridges High Rhinos on Thursday. CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (Sept. 11, 2023) — Concord High and De La Salle each won their first games of the fall Friday night while Mt. Diablo fell to its first defeat when Oakland Tech scored a late touchdown to upset the Red Devils and overcome another sterling four-touchdown evening by running back Herschel Turner. De La Salle was tied with Saint Francis 14-14 in Mountain View before having a strong fourth quarter to pull away from the Lancers 35-17.
